The Cherry Blossom Festival at Mobara Park is conducted annually from April 1st to 15th and is among the Top 100 places noted for cherry blossom viewing. There are approximately 2,850 cherry trees planted in the vast area of 160,000 square meters. The more photogenic ones surround the large pond to highlight Bentendou, a small structure that houses an image of Benten 弁天, a goddess of wealth, happiness, wisdom & music. Visitors can enjoy the beautifully landscaped walking paths, the large grassy area, and observation decks that run along the hiking trails.
