Otsuka Museum of Art, Tokushima

The unique Otsuka Museum of Art has more than 1,000 faithfully reproduced replicas of western masterpieces of art in their original size and color. It is located in the picturesque Naruto Park just beside the Great Naruto Bridge in Naruto City, Tokushima.  

Naruto Park, Tokushima

Naruto Park is located at the foot of the Great Naruto Bridge (on Tokushima side). As soon as you cross it, you are already inside the park. There, you'll have a 360-degree panorama view of the entire area, including Awaji island, the beautiful ocean, and Naruto city.

Awa Odori

Awa Odori is the name of Tokushima's very own street dancing festival, a joyful spectacle and a must-see for visitors to this corner of Shikoku.

Dainichiji - Itano

Temple four in the Shikoku Ohenro pilgrimage is also known as the temple of the great sun. Set far back into the valley on the north side of the Yoshino Plain, this temple gives the traditional pilgrim a first taste of what searching for a temple off the main roads will be like in the weeks ahead. Kōbō Daishi founded the temple and named it for the Dainichi Buddha. For the past thousand years, the temple has been repeatedly destroyed and reconstructed, the last of which was rebuilt by a monk named Matsu. To get there, catch a Kajiyahara bound bus from Itano or Tokushima station and get off at Rakan bus stop. From there it is a 45 minute walk.

Kazurabashi - Rope Bridge of Iya

A traditional vine-rope bridge located in Tokushima Prefecture's Iya Valley region. A beautiful work of engineering in a gorgeous natural setting makes this bridge one of Tokushima's top tourist destinations.
