The Namikata Peninsula is the northernmost point of Shikoku in Ehime. It's a small tongue of land jutting out into the Seto Inland Sea. Route 166 goes right around it, making it an ideal loop for cycling or driving. From here the views of the Inland Sea and the bridges of the Shimanami Kaido are beautiful in all seasons.
