Yukyu Roman-no Mori, (which translates to 'Forest of Eternal Romance') is a nature park located in rural Echizen Town in Fukui Prefecture. In the park, there are several old Japanese houses with thatched-roofs. You can experience Japanese Soba noodle making and other activities there. Until I visited the place with my drone recently I didn't know you could also stay in thatched-roof houses. Price varies depending on which house you rent, but it's somewhere between 15,000 to 20,000 yen for 5 people per night. There are also cottages to stay in. Located on an idyllic mountain side surrounded by beautiful nature, this is a great place to enjoy a holiday with your family and friends!

This would be such an amazing experience and the perfect opportunity to get away from it all for a while!

Hiroshi-san, I always admire your videos. I can hardly make any video, let alone from the drone!

I love aerial shots like the ones you created here! Beautiful job and nice choice of music! I would truly enjoy staying here by the look of it. What type of drone were you using? Perhaps the DJI Phantom 2 and a Go Pro? I want to get into this type of video shooting as well!

Thank you Dillon for your comment! My drone is my creation (I built it myself), and mount a Go Pro camera on it!
