Biei is known for its majestic flower hills. In Kamifurano Town, along the national road connecting Asahikawa and Furano, lies Kanno Farm, consisting of a garden and a flower field. Lavenders bloom from mid July to early August, while many other kinds of flowers can be seen until October. On a good day, the scenic Tokachi Mountain Range can be seen.
There is a cafe selling some of Hokkaido's favorite snacks such as butter corn, milk, and of course the most important when visiting a farm in Hokkaido, lavender ice cream. There is also a souvenir shop with a wide variety of lavender items.
The farm is 15 minutes from JR Bibaushi station, and 30 minutes from JR Furano station
