The reconstruction of Kanteibyo Temple in Yokohama Chinatown took almost a decade, and lots and lots of money. The results are stunningly beautiful and the pride of the Chinese community - including visitors from around the globe. Most of the pillar carvings and wall details were done in Taiwan, while most of the roof, eave, and altar details were done in China. Many people come here to show their respects and to pray for blessings.
