Moenosato is at the entrance of Mt. Tawara, one of Mt. Aso's craters. In October it welcomes you with fields of cosmos flowers in full bloom. Beautiful white, light and dark pink cosmos light up on the green mountain. It's time to enjoy a picnic in the warmth of early Autumn.

Cosmos flowers are one of my favorites - I feel like they're so underrated compared to some of Japan's other blooms!
