This annual LED illumination has been running since 2006 as one of many festive ways Kyocera has helped invigorate the local community since relocating to south of Kyoto station back in 1998.
The public garden in front of the main building will be illuminated each night to produce an ethereal, festive display thanks to almost 190,000 LEDs in various colors. From Monday Dec 11, the main illumination will be joined by an 86-meter tall Christmas tree display comprising festive decorations and lighting from the main building itself that will give the headquarter's facade itself a festive facelift.
There will also be a classical concert performed by the Kyoto Seibo Gakuin school's hand-bell and chorus clubs, on Thursday December 21st (6:00–7:00pm). Come to enjoy the heart-warming voices and harmonious sound of the hand-bells while viewing the beautiful night illumination.
