Hakuba: March 4–9, 2025 | Niseko: March 10–15, 2025

Hakuba, located in the Japanese Alps, is just 250km west of Tokyo. Known for its stunning snow and rich history, it’s the most popular ski area in Honshu, having hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics. The Hakuba Valley boasts 10 resorts, all accessible with a single lift pass.

Snow Machine Hakuba takes place from March 4 to 9, 2025 and features a stellar lineup, including Chase & Status DJ Set, A-Trak, Claptone, Dillon Francis, and Bob Moses. The event hosts multiple stages across the Hakuba Valley, with performances at the resort, the main stage in Happo-One Village, and late-night sets in the villages of Happo, Echoland, and Wadano

Niseko, situated on Hokkaido Island, is renowned for its consistent and powdery snow, drawing skiers and snowboarders from around the world. The area has four interconnected resorts—Niseko Village, Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, and An'nupuri—offering a diverse range of slopes, deep snow, and breathtaking views of Mount Yotei.

Snow Machine Niseko, running from March 10 to 15, 2025, brings top DJs and world-class skiing to Japan’s powder paradise. The festival also takes place across multiple venues, including the popular Niseko Village and Grand Hirafu resorts, as well as Izumikyo. Expect sets from A-Trak, Claptone, Dillon Francis, Bob Moses, and Ken Ishii.

Both regions offer a unique combination of top-tier skiing and vibrant festival energy. The Snow Machine festival further amplifies the experience, offering a chance to soak in the local culture, groove to live music, and connect with fellow winter sports enthusiasts. Whether you're here for the skiing, the snow, or the festivities, Hakuba and Niseko offer an all-around winter escape that keeps you coming back for more.
