Claude Monet (1840 – 1926) was a pioneering French Impressionist painter renowned for his extraordinary sense of natural light and color, and his artworks like the Water Lilies series are still influential to this day. A special event taking place at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka will explore Monet's works to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, with around 60 pieces on display.
Admission to the event is priced at 2500 JPY for adults, 1500 JPY for high school and university students, and 500 JPY for elementary and junior high school students. No advance reservations are required.
Please note that the museum usually closes on Mondays, but they will be open during the event period on the following Mondays: February 12th, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and May 6th.
