If you're looking for a fun event to celebrate sakura season with a party-like atmosphere, check out the Ogimachi Cherry Blossom Festival in Osaka. The three-day event is held at Ogimachi Park when the sakura trees are at their best, and there will be a wide variety of additional activities to enjoy alongside the blooms.
Music and stage performances, a beer garden area, various food trucks, and after-dark illuminations are some extra reasons to stop by and check out the festival.
Enjoying the blossoms and the stage performances is free of charge, but fees apply for the beer garden. Ticket sales for that component open up online from March 16th–please check the official event website for additional information. Please note that if online sales reach their limit, on-the-day beer garden tickets will not be available.
