There are many Christmas Markets to choose from in the Tokyo and Yokohama area. We are actually spoiled by the variety of choices. Last year I went to a Swedish one, but this year it's time to stick with the classics. So my friend and I went to the annual Christmas Market at German Protestant Church in Gotanda. A ten-minute walk from the station and you are in the world of the Nutcracker, with all the marzipan, traditional German cookies, and the magic of the approaching Christmas. Drop by for a mug of Glühwein, some nice presents for your family and friends, and the Christmas Spirit on the first Advent before Christmas (this year it was November 26).
