The goldfish boat offers visitors to Tokyo a comfortable way of sightseeing especially during the summer. It is named as such because of the colorful goldfish lanterns they hang all around the boat. These delicate ornaments come from Yanai in Yamaguchi prefecture. The goldfish boat is docked near Nihonbashi (Japan bridge). It takes a few minutes of walking to reach it from Mitsukoshimae or Nihombashi station. The boat cruises from Nihonbashi to Tokyo Skytree. Ticket costs ¥3500 and comes with kakigoori (Japanese shaved ice) during the start of the cruise and a bingo game card played during the return journey.
