Gotenyama Sakura Festival

The best of spring at this beautiful garden in Shinagawa

Venue: Gotenyama Garden When: Late Mar - Early Apr 2024

There are a myriad of incredible destinations to enjoy sakura season in Tokyo, and one of Shinagawa's top spots is Gotenyama Garden. A festival is held at the garden when the blossoms are at their best, and it includes additional activities like shamisen performances, after-dark illuminations, tea ceremonies (participation is via a lottery system), and plenty more.

A photo competition is also being held by the event organizers – those who use the hashtag #御殿山さくらまつり2023 (Gotenyama Sakura Festival 2023) can be in the running for prizes.
