In the garden of Tokyo's Hotel Chinzanso, spring is welcomed early with kawazuzakura blossoms in February, followed by other variants like shuzenji-kanzakura soon thereafter. There are even late-blooming types that peak in April, so there is quite a significant window where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the blossoms.
A special after-dark event titled Night Sakura – Sea of Clouds is taking place at the garden up until April, and it allows attendees to appreciate these stunning blooms illuminated after sunset. The whimsical clouds surrounding them adds to the magical atmosphere.
There is no admission fee to visit the hotel's gardens, so if you're looking for a fun and free activity this spring be sure to check it out.
