A celebration of locally-grown food

There are numerous benefits to eating locally, including the huge plus of enjoying seasonal, ultra-fresh produce. The Taste of Tokyo event aims to shine a light on this, and it's set to include a variety of food trucks selling dishes using Tokyo-sourced ingredients, fresh Tokyo-grown produce for sale, and areas where attendees can learn more about the prefecture's agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.

Getting there

The event takes place at four Tokyo city districts:

  • Marunouchi (along Gyoko-dori and Marunouchi Naka-dori) – accessible from Tokyo Station in 2 minutes on foot.
  • Hibiya (Hibiya Nakadori, Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, and the Hibiya Chanter shopping mall) – accessible from Hibiya Station in 2 minutes on foot.
  • Yurakucho (Tokyo International Forum Ground Plaza) – accessible from Yurakucho Station in a minute on foot.
  • Toyosu (next to the Gas Science Museum) – accessible from Toyosu Station in 7 minutes on foot.
