Fuji Safari Park is a lot of fun for the whole family. Come early to take photos with a baby lion and get on one of the great looking buses and go on the safari tour. You can see a wide variety of wild animals, and you can even feed them from inside the bus. After the bus tour check out the restaurant for a great meal and visit the more friendly animal pens, ride some horses or check out the large gift shop.

Fuji Safari Park near Mount Fuji
A day of fun for the whole family meeting wild animals

Community writer

This cool guy came to say hello and see what's up, the animals are not shy and they will come to meet you and you can also feed them different food.

You can take photos with a baby lion after you enter the park just check the schedule ahead of time since the lions are not available all the time.

Most people end up going with the bus tour from where you can be safe and be able to see the wild animals, as well as be able to feed them especially bears and lions.

You can take a small car if you want a more private look at the wild animals.

"Hello human, do you have any extra leaves in the car?" The giraffes will come close to you and check to see if you have any leaves or food for them.

Sometimes the rangers bring the animals closer to the bus so you can take a closer look and take better photos.

These guys are just relaxing, most of the wild animals were relaxed and only got up to come and get some food when you're in the bus.

The entry booth at the park has the prices up very easy to see!

You also see Mount Fuji from the rest area and the near the restaurant as well.

The entrance to the restaurant where you can pick quite a lot of different meals to eat for lunch.

This is one of the meals that you can buy from the restaurant, this is a Mount Fuji rice dish.

You can see the Fuji mountain from the horse riding area, you can pay about 300 yen per person and be able to ride a horse. Even small children can ride a pony for a few minutes.

These monkeys were a lot of fun and very active, they kept trying to grab my camera.

Awesome looking white kangaroos which stare at you longer than you stare at them.

The grey kangaroos are out and you can meet with them in the pen as well as feed them.
