One day in November, two years ago, I visited Korankei Valley in Aichi prefecture and enjoyed the gorgeous autumn foliage there. But the place was getting more and more crowded by the minute, so I 'evacuated' from Korankei and drove away for about an hour and half. When I dropped in at a restaurant, one of the staff there told me about this 'secret' Kamikoshi Valley. Only a few tourists go deep into the mountain to this place, or rather, most people don't know about it except for well-informed locals. When I stepped into this valley, I was at a loss for words. For a while I forgot even to breathe. The iridescent valley was THAT gorgeous.
