Miffy 65th Anniversary Exhibition: Nagoya

A limited-time event celebrating this much-loved character

Venue: Matsuzakaya Art Gallery, Nagoya When: Dec 11th - Jan 16th 2022

Miffy, the iconic rabbit character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, celebrated its 65th anniversary last year. A special exhibition taking place at Nagoya's Matsuzakaya Art Gallery will explore all things Miffy, with around 300 original drawings, sketches, and creative memos on display.

For those wanting to pick up a souvenir from their visit, there will also be a wide variety of event-exclusive merchandise available to purchase, including stuffed toys and figurines.

The admission fee for this leg of the event has not yet been determined - ticket prices should be listed on the official website closer to the commencement date.

Getting there

Nagoya's Matsuzakaya Art Gallery is directly connected via an underground walkway to Yabacho Station, which is served by the Meijo Subway Line (take Exit 5 or 6). Alternatively, the gallery is around 5 minutes on foot from Exit 16 of Sakae Subway Station (Higashiyama Line). For those who opt to drive, there are numerous parking lots in the surrounding area.
