Ichijodani Asakura Ruins is one of the famous tourist spots in Fukui. It is located in a valley at the foot of some scenic mountains. The relatively inconvenient location means not many people visit here despite its historic significance. We had lots of snow this year, especially during the New Year holidays. When my mini drone and I visited the site, nobody else was there. The snow on the ruins was untouched and so gorgeous! The mist traveling up and down the mountains was truly beautiful. Please enjoy the mysterious views of the ruins covered in pure-white snow that my mini drone and I captured from the air and the ground.
