Ride a Horse at Fukui Horse Park

Both beginners and seniors can enjoy private lessons

'Horse Park' has a stable for the horses of not only 'Horse Park' but several private owners and Senior High Schools attached to Fukui Institute of Technology as well. Equestrian training is also held here

This horse club has an indoor horse ground. It is so important here in Fukui with many days of bad weather, especially in winter. People can enjoy riding all year round without worrying about the bad weather

Twenty-four horses are in this stable at the moment including two ponies

Even just a beginner can enjoy horseback riding. Not only riding but taking care of the horse after riding is welcome

Fukui Horse Park is located by the Kuzuryu River, in the west part of Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. This stadium also serves as 'Fukui Equestrianism Sports Stadium. But unfortunately this ground is not going to be used in the National Athletic Meet in Fukui in 2018 as it is very small. This stable has 24 horses including several horses owned by this horse park. Some others belong to private owners or local schools. To say nothing of seniors getting close to equestrian events, those who just want to try horseback riding are welcome. The club offers 30-minute private lessons for 5,000 yen. You can obtain membership in the club, valid for one year. Enjoy brushing the horse after riding or bathing in the sunshine with it after riding.
