While enjoying breathing in the fresh countryside air of Fukuoka, I suddenly realized the scent of baked apples. I was at one of the most popular cafes in Kurume, Ringo to Budou no Ki. It means ‘The Tree of Apples and Grapes,’ and as you can tell from the name, they are famous for their fresh apple pies and orchard full of apples, grapes and other fruits. There is a souvenir shop, a café, a restaurant, and you can also go fruit picking in the orchard. You won't want to miss out if you’re in the Kurume area.

The delicious apple pie set

The apple cheese cake

Everything is detailed - the plates and bowls are all apple shaped

Beautiful flower arrangements all over the cafe

Walk through this small path to go to RIngo-an, a pasta restaurant where you can taste their seasonal vegetables and fruits

Ringo-an, the restaurant

Indicating which way to go for the apple pies and the pasta

You can casually watch them peel and cut the apples to make them into delicious treasures

You can find many kinds of souvenirs at the souvenir shop

Love that they thought of everything down to the littlest details, like the apple shaped dishware! Very cool!
