Japan not only offers lively and busy cities but also great nature. One only has to travel a short distance to experience its breathtaking natural scenery. After a one and a half hour drive from the city, I felt a different impression of Japan. Faded colors of retro 80s shop signs in streets by Lake Sagami, the relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous autumn leaves formed a very different environment from what I was used to. This place was small in size but it certainly had the beauty to seize one’s attention for one whole day. The relaxed atmosphere presented by the calm lake surrounded by colorful autumn leaves and the fun activities certainly was an invigorating escape from the busy city life.
