The Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands (Hakone Shisseikaen or 箱根湿生花園 in Japanese) is a wonderfully designed garden where you can discover the great variety of Japan's marsh and alpine plants, as well as other flowers typically found during the Japanese summer. The garden is open from the end of March through to the end of November and depending on the season you will be able to see all different kinds of flowers and colors.
