Since travel is still off the cards for many of us, the Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel is bringing a slice of Hawaii to Japan this summer. Their Hawaiian Afternoon Tea event will incorporate a variety of island flavors into the dishes on offer, which include a coconut and lilikoi panna cotta, a chocolate haupia tart, and pineapple macarons to name just a few. The event is held at the hotel's bar lounge on the 42nd floor, ensuring a stunning view out over the city.

The price for the afternoon tea event is ¥ 4,700 per head, and reservations can be made by contacting the hotel's booking department on 045-471-1115.

Getting there

The Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel is located just two minutes on foot from Shin-Yokohama Station, which is served by the Tōkaidō Shinkansen, the JR Yokohama Line, and the Yokohama Municipal Subway's Blue Line.

For those who opt to drive, on-site parking is available for hotel guests at a cost of 1000 yen per day.
