On your way to Myohon-ji Temple, why not stop in at Daigyo-ji? Daigyo-ji was originally constructed over 1000 years ago as an offshoot of the bigger temple, and its main object of worship is the Goddess of Childbirth. It attracts large numbers of pregnant women who come to pray for an easy childbirth. Interestingly, a medical doctor practices pediatrics in the temple grounds. It is a tiny little temple, but pretty, and well worth a stop.
