Japanese grapes are renowned for their exceptional quality, with varieties like Kyoho and Shine Muscat particularly prized for their unique flavors. The grape harvesting season here begins around late July or early August and lasts until September or early October, depending on the region and the specific type of grapes being grown.
If you're a grape aficionado, Kanagawa's Miyako Farm will be hosting a grape festival on two consecutive Saturdays this September. Attendees can buy different varieties of popular fruit at reasonable prices, and there will also be the opportunity to try grape gelato made from freshly harvested grapes.
The event takes place on September 23rd and 30th, from 10am until 2pm on both days.
