The Moomins are characters in a cartoon series developed by Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson, and they've become quite popular here in Japan. The Moomin Comic Strips Exhibition is traveling around Japan, and reaches Yokokama's Sogo Museum of Art from November 19th 2021 until January 10th 2022. The event will include over 280 drawings and sketches of this much-loved troll family, many of which haven't been seen in Japan before.

The event will also have a range limited-time exhibition goods available for purchase, including items like Moomin t-shirts, cosmetic pouches, and tote bags to name a few.

As yet, the pricing for this event has not yet been determined, but updates will be posted on the official website closer to the start date.
