The Yokohama Asahi Jazz Festival is a summer tradition in Asahi ward, and the event has been running for over 30 years now. Held on the sprawling lawn of the Children's Natural Park Baseball Field, the festival provides the opportunity to enjoy performances by various jazz musicians in beautiful natural surroundings.
Alongside all the music to enjoy, there will be a variety of food trucks selling an array of delicious eats. Attendees are also welcome to bring along their own food for a more picnic-like atmosphere.
This is a paid event, with admission priced at 5000 yen for adults and 2000 yen for college-aged students. Admission is free for junior high school students and younger who are attending with a parent or guardian.
