A special exhibition taking place at the Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka will explore works from German visual artist Gerhard Richter. Born in Dresden in 1932, Richter studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, and his creations run the gamut from abstract to photorealistic paintings, photography, sculpture, and glass design. He is regarded by many as one of the most important contemporary artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This event will showcase 18 of Richter's abstract works including Möhre (1984), and Strip 921-2 (2011) to name just a couple.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
