From October 16th until February 14th, the Osaka Garden of Floral Culture will be hosting an illumination event, which is the biggest of its kind in the southern Osaka region. Approximately 300,000 LED lights will sparkle and shine across the grounds, with the intent of inspiring and energizing visitors after the challenges faced over the last 18 months.
Admission to the garden is priced at ¥ 1500 for adults, and ¥ 800 for children aged four years and above. Do note that admission fees can only be paid in cash.
The Osaka Garden of Floral Culture is located around 20 minutes driving time from the Hanwa Expressway's Mihara Kita IC. Free on-site parking is available for up to 300 vehicles.
For those visiting the venue via public transport, head to Kawachi-Nagano Station on the Nankai-Koya Line or Kintetsu-Nagano Line. From there, take the Nankai Bus from Platform 7 in front of the station.
- If you take the bus bound for "Takihata Dam" (line 419 or line 419V), get off at the "Okukawachi Kuromaro no Sato" stop and the garden is around 10 minutes away on foot.
- If you take the bus bound for "Tako" (Line 406), get off at the "Kamitakou" stop and the garden is around 15 minutes away on foot.
