Nagatoro is a really beautiful place to visit during autumn. One particular highlight is Iwadatami (the tatami mat of rock), a huge rock terrace 80 meters wide and 500 meters long, formed by erosion of the Arakawa River. Together with Iwadatami, the cliff and waterfalls create a natural work of art.
