Sponsored by the Japanese online handmade market Creema (similar to Etsy), the Yamabiko Festival 2021 aims to bring a slice of culture to the great outdoors of Gotemba in Shizuoka. The two-day event will include live music performances from 12 different artists and groups, a craft market with over 200 vendors, an outdoor sauna, numerous food trucks, and a kids area where the little ones can run around and enjoy themselves, too.
Ticket prices are 5000 yen per day (on the day), or 4200 yen per day in advance. Advance tickets can be arranged via 7-11 stores.
The Creema Yamabiko Festival 2021 takes place at the Outdoor Hill Village campsite. It can be accessed within around 10 minutes from the Tomei Expressway's Susono IC, or around 25 minutes from the Gotemba IC. A temporary parking lot will be set up near the venue, and a free shuttle will transport attendees to the site.
For those visiting via public transport, a free shuttle bus will also be available from Gotemba Station. Please see the official event website for timetable information.
