An exhibition focusing on modern Japanese painting is taking place at the Kakegawa Ninomaru Museum of Art until November 15th. The event will showcase artworks from the museum's in-house collection that range from the Meiji era through to the Showa era. Some of the pieces are from influential artists like Taikan Yokoyama (1868 - 1958), Kawai Gyokudo (1873 -1957), and Takeuchi Seiho (1864 - 1942).
Many of the works to be displayed at the event are inspired by the four seasons, and there will also be various kacho-e (bird and flower) pieces to appreciate. Adult admission to the event is priced at 200 yen.
