Most of us hope for a full week of sunshine when we are out traveling. But it doesn't alway happen that way. I recently spent a weekend in Nikko and it rained almost the whole time. But guess what? It was beautful! In this short series, I'd like to share the beauty of Nikko with you--in the rain. This story focuses on a simple thing of beauty--the white birch. There are many in Nikko, especially in Senjogahara and Odajirogahara, and they are truly lovely.
