Satinoyu Onsen is in the Nasushiobara area, close to Itamuro Onsen. There are two different areas that are swapped between male and female bathers from time to time. Both sides have inside and outside baths as well as one bath on each side having the hot water "waterfall" bath. The weekends are quite busy, as the hotel gets pretty full then. Locals use this onsen a lot, especially during the weekdays when it is much quieter. Entry is a few hundred yen. The giant wooden statue at the front door is a little confronting, but it is a really lovely onsen, with great water.
