Japan is a country filled with natural beauty, and it has inspired a myriad of artists throughout history. A special exhibition taking place at Tokyo's Hotel Gajoen is titled "100 Flowers at Hyakudan Kaidan", and it will explore various blooms depicted in art throughout the four seasons. There will be cherry blossoms through to camellias, autumn leaves to peonies, and plenty more.
In total there will be 126 Japanese paintings on display, along with 60 additional items including kimonos and makeup tools with floral motifs.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen, but early bird tickets can be purchased via the official event website at a slight discount (800 yen).
