We discovered this bunny cafe at a random alley in Akihabara. It is on the 9th floor of an old building. The cafe is called Candy Fruit Usagi. It was quite hard to find because there were no signs outside the building.

When you go up, you’ll be asked to wear slippers provided outside the cafe to maintain cleanliness. As we went inside, we were greeted by two cute Japanese girls in a maid’s costume. I would have shown what they look like but no photos of them were allowed.

I was surprised to see so many cute fluffy bunnies inside the cage. Wow! We chose the 30-minute feeding time with the rabbits while we were served unlimited drinks (choices of coffee, tea and different kinds of fruit juice). Rabbits can only be fed one at a time. So we chose their most popular rabbit, Yochi.

Yochi was a big white fluffy rabbit. That bunny was very active, fast and really hungry. After we fed Yochi, we chose the second most popular rabbit. This time it was a beautiful brown rabbit named Perro. It was tamer than Yochi. But Perro did not want to get closer to us. I guess it did not like the carrots and cabbages we bought for him to eat or maybe Perro had just eaten and was already full. So we asked for another rabbit. They suggested that we choose the black rabbit. I forgot its name but it was so soft and loved to stay on my lap. That rabbit liked to be fed and pet. I love all the rabbits! They are like humans with different kinds of personalities. But for me, the best of all and my most favorite was Yochi!

Cover charge ¥1100 for 30 minutes, ¥1800 for 60 minutes and ¥2500 for 90 minutes (all-inclusive of unlimited drinks). Additional ¥500 for the rabbit food (to feed).
