Useshima Coffee Company (UCC) Japan is one of the biggest players on the coffee market. It has many subsidiaries all over the world (in America, Spain, Germany, UK, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand etc.).
UCC was founded in Kobe in 1933. In 1969, its founder, Ueshima Tadao, developed the first canned coffee.
The Azabu-Juban branch of Ueshima Coffee is always busy. Its design is modern yet very nostalgic. Older people like to visit there because the place reminds one of a traditional Showa Era coffee shop with sandwiches, toasts, drip coffee and melon soda on the menu.
If you are more into modern beverages and light breakfast, there are plenty of options, including seasonal flavors. Before 11am there are many good breakfast options (coffee or other set beverage included).
