First debuting in 1969, the beloved children's show Sesame Street revolutionized early education via entertainment. Iconic characters like Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster live along this fictional street, promoting messages of inclusion, diversity, and emotional intelligence alongside academics.
To celebrate 55 years of Sesame Street, the Hello! Sesame Street World Exhibition will take place at Tokyo's Matsuya Ginza from March 26th. It's set to include a wide variety of valuable Sesame Street materials, including real puppets that aren't usually on public display. There will also be an array of event-specific merchandise that can only be purchased at the venue.
Admission to the event is priced at 1800 JPY.
