Keith Haring (1958 – 1990) was an American artist whose bold, vibrant, and often political imagery became iconic in the 1980s. One of his core tenets was that art is for everyone, and he often disseminated art in subway stations and on the streets of New York during his career.
A special exhibition taking place at the Mori Arts Center Gallery is set to explore a variety of Haring's works under that theme of "art to the streets", and approximately 150 pieces will be on display. Some of them are large-scale works, measuring around six meters in length.
Adult admission to the exhibition is priced at 2200 JPY.
