Dinosaurs captivate the human imagination for a multitude of reasons, fostering an enduring fascination that spans generations. Whether it's the sheer magnitude of their existence, their enigmatic nature, or even the mystery and theories behind their extinction, these creatures promote awe, wonder, and intrigue in adults and children alike.

The Odaiba Dinosaur Expo is a way to get your fix of all things dinosaur-related, and there will be various ways to do just that. One highlight of the event will be around 20 impressive full-body skeleton specimens on loan from the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, including Triceratops and Acrocanthosaurus. There will also be Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus rex robots on display, plus various merchandise items that attendees can purchase.

This is a ticketed event, with admission priced at 2200 JPY for adults, 1500 JPY for junior high and high school students, 1300 JPY for children aged from 3 years old to elementary school age, and free for those under 3. Advance tickets can be arranged via several retailers including Lawson at a slight discount.

Getting there

The expo takes place at the Fuji TV headquarters in Odaiba. The venue can be accessed in three minutes on foot from the south exit of Daiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, or 5 minutes on foot from Exit B of Tokyo Teleport Station on the Rinkai Line.
