Roppongi Art Night

A fusion of art, music, and performance for an immersive urban experience

Running for over a decade now, the Roppongi Art Night event aims to encourage an enjoyment of art in everyday life while also pioneering urban development. The event incorporates contemporary art, design, music, video, and performance at various locations to create an immersive experience for those who attend.

The 2023 iteration of the event takes on the theme of “An Illustrated Book of Urban Creatures,” with the main program featuring works from visual artists Takashi Kuribayashi and Tomoko Konoike. There will be various other creatives with works featured, with the full lineup available via the English press release here.

Getting there

This is a multi-venue event, with exhibitions taking place at the Roppongi Hills complex, the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo Midtown, the Suntory Museum of Art, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, and The National Art Center, Tokyo plus the surrounding streets. The venues are walkable from Roppongi Station (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, Toei Oedo Line) and Nogizaka Station (Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line).
