From January 21st until February 7th, Shibuya's OIL by Art Notebook Gallery is hosting an exhibition of works from Japanese artist Sablo Mikawa. Mikawa started his career in 2014, creating oil paintings that were inspired by the people and landscapes he encountered while traveling, the cultures he had come into contact with, and his personal childhood experiences.
A number of his oil paintings will be displayed at the event, with some of them available for purchase online from 4 pm on January 22nd.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
The OIL by Art Notebook Gallery is located on the second floor of Shibuya PARCO, which can be accessed in approximately 5 minutes on foot from Shibuya Station's Hachiko exit. The station is served by numerous lines including the JR Yamanote line, the Tokyo Metro's Ginza, Hanzomon, and Fukutoshin lines, and the Keio Inokashira line.
