Steps Ahead Exhibition 2021

An exhibition of recent acquisitions at Tokyo's Artizon Museum

A special exhibition taking place at Tokyo's Artizon Museum titled "Steps Ahead" will showcase a range of new items in the museum's collection. Around 120 works in total will be displayed, including pieces from several Cubist painters, drawings from Henri Matisse, and contemporary Australian artwork to name just a few.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1500 yen on the day, but advance reservations can be made on the official website for a reduced fee of 1200 yen.

Getting there

The Artizon Museum (formerly known as the Bridgestone Museum of Art) is easily accessible via various train stations.

It's located 5 minutes on foot from the JR Tokyo Station (take the Yaesu Central Exit), the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line's Kyobashi Station (take exit number 6 or 7), or Nihombashi Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Tozai Line, or the Toei Asakusa Line (take the B1 Exit).
