Summer Festival Afternoon Tea 2021

A fun, seasonal event at the Royal Park Hotel

Venue: Royal Park Hotel When: Jul 1st - Jul 31st 2021

A number of summer festivals have been canceled or postponed this year owing to the lingering pandemic, but Tokyo's Royal Park Hotel have come up with a fun way of bringing the festival atmosphere to their guests. From July 1st until August 31st, their Summer Festival Afternoon Tea serves up a range of beautifully presented dishes, such as a passionfruit tart designed to emulate the look of fireworks in the night sky, and a yakitori (grilled chicken) terrine.

The afternoon tea set is normally priced at ¥ 4,840 per head, but there's a way to save yourself some money! Bring a friend and both come wearing yukata, and you can enjoy these tastes of summer for ¥ 7,700 yen between you.

Getting there

The Royal Park Hotel is directly connected to Suitengumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (take Exit 4). Alternatively, the venue is 5 minutes walk from Ningyocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line (Exit A2).

For those who opt to drive, parking is free for those who dine on-site for up to two hours. Outside the two hour window, parking is charged at ¥ 300 per 30 minute increment.

Something of violet color in glasses with red fish - is it a dessert or a decoration?
