A limited-time afternoon tea event will be taking place at the Intercontinental Hotel Tokyo Bay throughout summer, and it will be a collaborative effort between two geniuses in the patisserie world: Pierre Hermé and Junji Tokunaga. The Summer Sparkle Afternoon Tea incorporates various seasonal flavors into the desserts on offer, including lemon, raspberry, passionfruit, orange, and lychee. Savory items will also be served, including a corn potage, mini burgers with pineapple and BBQ sauce, and crudites.
The price per head for the afternoon tea differs: on weekdays, it's priced at ¥ 5,827, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays the price is ¥ 6,261 (prices are tax inclusive).
