There are three Prince Hotels in the Takanawa area of Tokyo – Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa, and The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo. A sprawling Japanese garden sits in the middle of them, and it's particularly delightful in spring with over 200 cherry blossom trees in seventeen varieties adding some ethereal beauty to the area.
The Takanawa Sakura Festival held at the Japanese garden is a celebration of all things spring, and along with the daytime appreciation of the blooms there will also be evening illuminations.
