Originally developed by TOMYTEC, "Tetsudou Musume" are anime characters that personify train stations. The Skytree Train operated by Tobu Railways have cars decorated with the Tetsudou Musume until March 29th. Only the limited express lines are decorated and they only operate on weekends and public holidays, so don't miss this rare opportunity for a weekend getaway on a train of Japanese imagination to its max!
Tobu Railways also launched a giveaway campaign for any foreigner who purchased a Tobu Railway discount pass and a limited express ticket. You can receive an "Otoshidama" which is a traditional New Years pocket money for children, but this time a Japanese accessory.
