If your Japan trip overlaps with K pop fandom energy and Sanrio cuteness, this limited time pop up is worth putting on your radar. This February, the TREASURE × HAPIDANBUI CAFE opens in Tokyo, bringing together global boy group TREASURE and Sanrio's beloved Hapidanbui character unit for a themed cafe experience.
This collaboration celebrates a shared milestone, with both TREASURE and Hapidanbui marking six years since their debut. Inside the cafe, the worlds of music and character culture blend seamlessly. Hapidanbui's six characters, including Pochacco, Badtz Maru, Tuxedo Sam, Hangyodon, Keroppi, and Pekkle, appear as cafe staff in original artwork created just for the event.
The menu leans into comfort food, pairing TREASURE members with their favorite dishes and matching them to Hapidanbui characters. Expect set plates featuring tacos, pizza, yakiniku, noodles, sandwiches, and hamburgers, each served with a themed dessert in a glass. Drinks range from chocolate berry ice milk to strawberry iced tea and warming cinnamon apple tea, making it easy to find something that fits the season.
Exclusive merchandise is another big draw, with items like T shirts, tote bags, acrylic stands, keychains, and badges available only at the cafe. Advance reservations come with special photo card bonuses, while menu orders and merchandise purchases unlock additional collectible items.
If you can't make the Tokyo-based event, there will be an additional event in Osaka from February 19th to April 5th.
